Oh the many happenings of my life since October in a brief blog post :)

Aren't we so Christmasy?
See I have lots of stripes!
My best Friend got Engaged !
Wow,so guess what? FINALS ARE OVER and another semester of college has successfully gone by! Can you tell I am ecstatic? Now I have time to just read books that I actually want to read! I know your probably thinking you crazy girl you just had to read a million bazillion things for all of those awesome classes that are know over! Yes I get you point but I love reading and now I can actually read some books that I want to read. So here are some random happening since the last time I posted. For Halloween I dressed up as a zebra, well I tried to look like a zebra, according to everyone that saw me I looked like a scary goth girl, but hey in my defense I had plenty of zebra strips, I guess wearing black lipstick and heavy black makeup against my super ghost- like skin just freaks people out. Regardless of everyone getting guessing my costume wrong I had loads of fun. My friends and I went and saw Dracula the ballet. I don't think I have ever been scared watching ballet in my life until that night, but I was surprised at how good it was. It was the classic story of Dracula the vampire, who loves to bite peoples necks and suck their blood. Ew, just saying that makes me cringe! The month of November ushered in a lot of beards. Is it bad that I am not really a fan of no shave November. Thanksgiving was super fun, I just spent time with family which is really the best thing in the world. And now it's December! Only two weeks or less then two weeks until Christmas. I am so excited and finals are officially over can I get a hip hip hooray?

SNOW!!!!

The chill in the air at six o'clock in the morning made me want to duck back under my covers and not come out until it was summer again. I gingerly slipped out of bed trying not to gasp as my toes touched the chilly floor. I rushed through my regular morning routine and hurriedly grabbed my back pack as a flung open the door. I stopped in surprise as I looked out at the world before me.....it was white! The night had changed the world that lay outside my door where it had been covered in the colorful falls leaves before now snow lay gently across the grass and delicate snowflakes swirled down from heaven. This is the sight that greeted my hazel eyes yesterday morning. The first snow of the season is always magical. It is announcing a change in life, time is moving on. It's beautiful!

Fall Break

Life has been going super crazy fast, there never seems to be enough hours in a day to get things done or to just relax before it's time to go to bed and then wake up and start all over again. I got a new job and I enjoy it much more then Opinionology. I no longer have to call people and annoy them into taking surveys, which is great because annoyed people generally tend to yell mean things at you. It's almost like they don't realize you are a real person. Being on the phone you never see the persons face so it really is like they don't really exist they are just a floating voice on the phone line whose sole purpose is to annoy and aggravate people. From working there I have learned to be more patient with the people who call me to get surveys or to sell me something because a little kindness even from a stranger goes a long way. The times that I didn't despise working there were when the people I called treated me like I was a person who had feelings, and really no matter how hard I tried the rude things that people said still affected my mood even though I knew they weren't really angry at me but at being bothered by another survey call. Now I clean student housing on campus and it's wonderful, I don't have to talk to anyone if I don't want to, I could just ignore the whole population of student housing it's great. Of course I don't ignore them because that would be plain rude but it's kinda nice to know that I could ignore them and not get in trouble for doing so. This past weekend was fall break and it was blissful, I didn't have to work on Friday because we had no school and I am not required to work on days that there is no school which is amazing! For fall break I went home and just hung out with my beautiful wonderful parents and my sister and brother in law and my cute little nephew. Going home is one of the most peaceful things in the world. I miss the quietness of the farm. I am not saying Logan is a huge city but it still sometimes feels overly crowded compared to Elwood. I love how we don't have to close our blinds in the living room at home because nobody is around to peek in the window, but in Logan it feels like the whole apartment complex is watching you if you don't close your living room blinds, I really despise that feeling, not that I am blaming the other people who live in my apartment complex because at night when it's dark outside and you have your lights on in your living room it is super easy to see in.Also I missed chasing cows back into their pens. I got to do that over fall break and it was soooo much fun. Now you may think that's a little odd but it's just something I have always loved doing maybe it's because cows are the only things that are bigger than me that are scared of me so I can actually chase them back into their pens.I am glad though that the pig didn't get out, pigs are way to smart, cows are cute but they aren't the sharpest pencil in the box. I get to go back to school tomorrow, and I really don't want to. Fall break reminded me of summer and now I just want it to be fall break every day, though I am  sure that I would get tired of fall break if it lasted forever. Anyways I hope you all have a very happy week!

SPECTACULAR!

TEN Years Ago TODAY my parents were married and then a couple years later they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Isn't it so amazing how fast time goes? I am so happy and grateful that my Dad married my Step Mom Lisa, she is amazing! This picture is a couple years old and missing a couple of people now but I absolutely love it, especially the fact that my niece got a hold of my brothers hair :)

Summer

This summer has been like a melting popsical on a hot summer day.....Way to fast but still delicously fun. I only had one thing that I really wanted to do this summer and that was take pictures with every single statue on campus. I think I got most of them but not all I guess I didn't reallize how many there were. Anyways there may be some pictures to come. My dear silly friend Andrea turned 21 recently. She is amazing, I could never ask for a better friend with her and she made my summer so much more interesting.

Dare to Stand Alone

So recently I have become addicted to watching Mormon Messages and doing Family History. Doing Family History isn't a bad thing but when you have more then forty names that need ordinances done that's when you should probably quit finding names and find people to help you do their ordinances. Anyways so this is one of my favorite Mormon messages. Actually I really love them all. You all should check out the one on the civility experiment that one was amazing. Have a great week!

The End of dead week

This week has been crazy busy and right now I don't want to do any of the studying that I need to do. On Wednesday I was minding my own business walking to class and talking to my sister Daline on the phone when some crazy guy with a red flag starting waving it around, suddenly like fifty people were all congregated in the middle of the TSC patio and then they all started rock paper scissor fighting and dying left and right and then the people wearing black shirts won and ran off with the flag. It was the strangest thing I have ever seen but it totally made my day and I am pretty sure I saw someone recording it so it will probably make an appearance on YouTube or Face book some day and get a billion and one hits. Finals week is upon all of the homework overloaded students of USU. Good Luck and have some fun even though we are all freaking out about passing all of our classes!

I'm Alive still!

So blogging has been my last priority lately. There is only two more weeks left of school and then it's finals week! I terribly dislike this time of year. It gets so stinkin stress full and I feel like I am just pushing my head against a big concrete wall that will never ever ever budge! Oh I got a job! It isn't the most glamorous of jobs but it is a job and it's all mine! I am actually going to be making money! YIPPEE! It probably wasn't the best idea to get a job right before the end of school though....but I needed the money so what can you do?

Valentines Day

I have always loved Valentines Day. I know most people despise it, especially single people. Valentines day was not created just so people could get into fights because their significant other didn't get them any roses. This is what everyone seems to miss. Valentines day is about love, yes the romantic kind of love is involved in it too, but that's only really looking skin deep. There are so many different types of love: love for your family, love for your friends, love for the random stranger you is nice enough to share a piece of chocolate with you. So for me this is what Valentines day is truly about. I think if everyone looked at it this way most people wouldn't hate Valentines day so much. So Valentines day is for spreading the Joy and being kind and of course you can't forget about the chocolate and the sugar cookies. So next Valentines Day, Enjoy it! Happy Feel Good February. :)

The dangers of a kind deed

My awesome sister is letting me borrow her mini laptop for the moment. I have to say that it is quite nice to be able to check my email and do online assignments without having to go to a computer lab. there is one downside though.....I am now officially addicted to games like Plants V.S. Zombies and Zuma and this weird fashion show game...... Yep it's bad and the worst part is that it only gives me three free trials to play them. So they get you hooked on their games and then take it away from you. The games aren't super expensive I am just not willing to spend my money on them. So yes right now I am going through a Zuma withdrawal. I even indoctrinated my cousin NaConi. She loves Plants V.S. Zombies , I hope there is one more free trial of that one for her sake. She even made a Zombatar. See Evidence to the side along with a picture of me mourning for the end of my free trials. I guess it is all for the best once all my free trials are gone then I can spend more time on my mountains of textbook reading that I need to do for class. I won't lie I love reading ask anyone who knows me well and they will tell you that more often then not I have my nose in some book or another, textbooks are just so boring! The authors don't even try to make them interesting most of the time. Imagine if there were such a thing as textbooks on tape. They would be boring to unless the reader made their voice sound super dramatic. Maybe I should create textbooks on tape. That would definitely be a lot of work. Can you imagine it thought think of the guy who did the harry potter books voice saying "Human anatomy chapter 1: The muscles of the Human Body". Oh the thought just makes me smile. Tomorrow is my birthday and I have to say that I am just excited to be spending time with my family and friends. Tomorrow is definitely a day for blowing of homework, but don't worry I will get the homework done , as I said before it's mostly reading and I am a superb fast reader that is as long as I don't fall asleep.I hope whoever is reading this will have an amazing fantastic weekend and not get addicted to free trial computer games and finish all their textbook reading quickly! Well goodbye for now Blog world.

Small things.

Today was a day of taking the long way to town and just enjoying the view and the warm sun shining on my back. It was also a day of not be frustrated at things that didn't go my way. Like at old grist mill they were all out of straws so I just used a little coffee straw. :)

Spanish!!!!

I AM SO NERVOUS FOR MY SPANISH 2010 CLASS! I'm just sitting in the computer lab waiting for it to start. Thirty more minutes!!!! I like learning about Spanish, but it's been so long since I had the Spanish 1020, that I'm afraid I have forgotten it all and I will make a fool out of myself on the first day of class.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

So this past year has been pretty busy. It seems the older I get the more busy life becomes. Some big things that happened to me over the past year is: I graduated from college with my Associates of Arts degree. I spent my whole entire summer looking for a job without success. I ran my very first 5k and got lots of my family to run it with me. I started my first semester at USU, because let's face it an associates degree won't get me a better job then a high school diploma will. I also found out that I love USU a lot more than I liked Snow. Oh I changed my major from Anthropology to History Education and I got a cute little new Nephew.

Oh the scary things of life

Each one of us is scared of something, silly things, real things, imaginary things. The point is each of us is scared of something. I have...
