Valentines Day

I have always loved Valentines Day. I know most people despise it, especially single people. Valentines day was not created just so people could get into fights because their significant other didn't get them any roses. This is what everyone seems to miss. Valentines day is about love, yes the romantic kind of love is involved in it too, but that's only really looking skin deep. There are so many different types of love: love for your family, love for your friends, love for the random stranger you is nice enough to share a piece of chocolate with you. So for me this is what Valentines day is truly about. I think if everyone looked at it this way most people wouldn't hate Valentines day so much. So Valentines day is for spreading the Joy and being kind and of course you can't forget about the chocolate and the sugar cookies. So next Valentines Day, Enjoy it! Happy Feel Good February. :)

The dangers of a kind deed

My awesome sister is letting me borrow her mini laptop for the moment. I have to say that it is quite nice to be able to check my email and do online assignments without having to go to a computer lab. there is one downside though.....I am now officially addicted to games like Plants V.S. Zombies and Zuma and this weird fashion show game...... Yep it's bad and the worst part is that it only gives me three free trials to play them. So they get you hooked on their games and then take it away from you. The games aren't super expensive I am just not willing to spend my money on them. So yes right now I am going through a Zuma withdrawal. I even indoctrinated my cousin NaConi. She loves Plants V.S. Zombies , I hope there is one more free trial of that one for her sake. She even made a Zombatar. See Evidence to the side along with a picture of me mourning for the end of my free trials. I guess it is all for the best once all my free trials are gone then I can spend more time on my mountains of textbook reading that I need to do for class. I won't lie I love reading ask anyone who knows me well and they will tell you that more often then not I have my nose in some book or another, textbooks are just so boring! The authors don't even try to make them interesting most of the time. Imagine if there were such a thing as textbooks on tape. They would be boring to unless the reader made their voice sound super dramatic. Maybe I should create textbooks on tape. That would definitely be a lot of work. Can you imagine it thought think of the guy who did the harry potter books voice saying "Human anatomy chapter 1: The muscles of the Human Body". Oh the thought just makes me smile. Tomorrow is my birthday and I have to say that I am just excited to be spending time with my family and friends. Tomorrow is definitely a day for blowing of homework, but don't worry I will get the homework done , as I said before it's mostly reading and I am a superb fast reader that is as long as I don't fall asleep.I hope whoever is reading this will have an amazing fantastic weekend and not get addicted to free trial computer games and finish all their textbook reading quickly! Well goodbye for now Blog world.

Small things.

Today was a day of taking the long way to town and just enjoying the view and the warm sun shining on my back. It was also a day of not be frustrated at things that didn't go my way. Like at old grist mill they were all out of straws so I just used a little coffee straw. :)

Spanish!!!!

I AM SO NERVOUS FOR MY SPANISH 2010 CLASS! I'm just sitting in the computer lab waiting for it to start. Thirty more minutes!!!! I like learning about Spanish, but it's been so long since I had the Spanish 1020, that I'm afraid I have forgotten it all and I will make a fool out of myself on the first day of class.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

So this past year has been pretty busy. It seems the older I get the more busy life becomes. Some big things that happened to me over the past year is: I graduated from college with my Associates of Arts degree. I spent my whole entire summer looking for a job without success. I ran my very first 5k and got lots of my family to run it with me. I started my first semester at USU, because let's face it an associates degree won't get me a better job then a high school diploma will. I also found out that I love USU a lot more than I liked Snow. Oh I changed my major from Anthropology to History Education and I got a cute little new Nephew.

Life is chugging along!

WOW this semester has gone ridiculously fast. I am loving going to school here more then i did at the beginning of the year....which is a first. So here are some random stories from my year so far.
Once upon a time I was sitting on the city bus going up to campus. It was about nine O'clock in the morning. This boy sat next to me and he was peeling the most Delicious smelling orange in the entire world. I'm pretty sure my mouth was drooling and I was openly staring. He must have seen this because he asked if I wanted some. I hesitated for a moment and then noticed that he had the same backpack as me so I thought "Hey anyone with the same backpack would never poison an orange and over it to someone" So I excitedly said yes much to the poor kids astonishment so he handed me a slice. It was the most heavenly orange I have ever tasted.
The End

Once upon a time I was in a computer lab. I reached down into my backpack and ended up hitting my head on the computer desk. The boy next to me started laughing. Turns out he has done the same thing. Who knew that I wasn't the only clumsy person in the world.

Once upon a time I went to a murder mystery party with my room mate Kati. Everyone else was acting very serious and trying to solve the crime. Kati and I decided that it was the least likely person who killed the last neanderthal. Everyone else looked at us like we were crazy. they all picked the most likely candidate.... they were right. Why couldn't it have been like CSI where everything is always a surprise?

Once upon a time the entire campus was playing Humans V.S. Zombies. I couldn't stop laughing every time I walked to class because some poor human was getting chased down by a pack of Zombies. One time I was waiting at the bus stop when the bus pulled up a Human leaped off the bus followed by a pack of Zombies. All the people on the bus were shouting "RUN HUMAN RUN!" I shall never know if the human escaped or not... but it was fun to watch.

Oh the scary things of life

Each one of us is scared of something, silly things, real things, imaginary things. The point is each of us is scared of something. I have...
